Nominations for new officers will be accepted
that day so be thinking of who you want to nominate for President, Vice
President, Secretary & Treasurer. Elections will be held December 7th
Christmas Party December 5th Friday
from 6:00-9:00 at the Community Center...a large room has been reserved and
everyone will bring a dish. The Club will furnish the meats.
We would like to get a Decorating Committee together to discuss the
Christmas Party December 5th. Does anyone have any ideals for decorating the
room for the Christmas Party? Anyone crafty and creative in our club? We
were discussing getting some tablecloths for the tables at the Community
Center and maybe decorating the tables (just a little to make it look
festive) if you have anything from Christmas past that we could use, please
let me know. Email me if your interested in helping or have any ideals and
maybe a meeting place could be set up...December 5th will be here before we
know it!! We need to act quickly.
We plan on playing the "Dirty Santa" Game at the Party. Each member will
bring a small wrapped gift. ($10 limit) Men will bring a Man's gift, Women a
girl gift. Each member that brings a gift will be assigned a number and all
the gifts will have numbers. This will be fun to see what kind of present
everyone ends up with. You do not have to participate if you do
not want to.
We welcome any and all suggestions you have for this party so get those
"thinking hats" on!!!
Trey can still get the jackets like the ones we got last
year. The cost will be $65.00 each which includes the embroidery work. That
is with the Route 66 Cruisers logo on the back and the name on the front.
If anyone wants to order one, we need to know the size, whether it's for a
man or woman, and the name you want on it.

The swap meet was also a great
success...the members voted to give $800 of the proceeds to the Shriners and
we will also made a $200 donation to the Outlaw Cruisers for the E Coli
benefit this coming weekend in Locust Grove.
