We will be taking you on a wonderful tour of Route 66 in 10 days. Many fun places and points of interest to see along the way. We'll drive around 200 miles a day... Some a little longer... Some shorter. We will not be driving all of route 66 from Illinois to California... As some of the "mother road" is no longer out there..... But we will drive as much of what's left of route 66 as possible with time allowed. Each morning we will have a driver's meeting going over the day's activities and you will receive an itinerary of the day, places recommended to stop, and meeting place that evening for the next overnight stop and 2 hr. Oct 10th Dewey, OK Car & Bike show Downtown Simple Simon's Pizza  is hosting a benefit car show for Ben Hamm's family. Ben was a 17 year old Wesleyan Christian School football player that sustained a head injury from what was a seemingly routine tackle in the September 11th game. On September 19th he passed away from the injuries sustained from the tackle. All of the money raised from the car show will go directly to the family to help them. Oct 10th Rogers, AR 9th Annual Monster’s Ball Free to the general public But for the vehicles and bikes registering this year we are asking for a donation of either a bag of dog food, cat food, or any item of cleaning supplies for the local animal shelter. Starts at 3pm!!!
Location: In the parking lot of the Frisco Station Mall 100 North Dixieland Pet stuff: 3:30pm- all pet events are free The pets get goodie bags, pet contest, pet costume contest, pet parade, and pet awards. No pet goes home empty pawed, and it’s free to all. The only way we raise funds that night is with our silent auction. All proceeds go to the Humane Society for Animals which is a no kill shelter located in Rogers AR. We will also have adoptable pets from the Humane Society on site that evening. Kids stuff: 4:15ish- all kids events are free
Trick or trunk, kids games including: toss the body parts (not kidding it’s the kids favorite), costume contest for kids and teens, trophies and awards are presented. No kids goes home empty handed. Adults stuff: ALL Night Adults costume contest, trivia, and live DJ, and silent auction over 40 items to bid on. The only way we raise funds that night is with our silent auction. All proceeds go to the Humane Society for Animals which is a no kill shelter located in Rogers AR. Come check out an amazing selection of classic and modern Fords from all over and support local charities at the same time. Oct 16th - 17th Lawton, OK SWOCC Inaugural All Corvette Show - at the Apache Casino Hotel, 2315 E Gore Blvd, 73501. There will be Class Winner awards given in each Corvette class as well as Best Interior, Best Engine, Best Paint, Loudest Exhaust, People's Choice and Best in Show AND Top 25 Awards for the top 25 Corvettes receiving the most votes from show participants. Over $2,000 in Casino Free Play Cash will be awarded to registrants and show winners. There will also be a silent auction, giveaways, and a 50/50 raffle! A portion of the proceeds will go to Operation Home front.
