The Route 66 car club meeting was called to order by President Dwayne
Caldwell At 5:00 pm at the Will Rogers Downs.

The pledge of allegiance was said by group and a prayer was said by Jerry
Henry.

The Treasurers report was read and approved as read.

The Secretary’s report was approved as read.

Clint Starbird – guest- talked about the February 20, 21 & 22 show. No
monster trucks this year. 13 years or younger free, previously was 10 years.

February is American Heart month. Bryan McDonald went over and demonstrated
CPR procedure. Talked about different types of seizures and how to address
them. Addressed heat strokes and burns. Cold water on severe burns.

Cruise Committee – Rhetts, Cody’s and Wierbach agreed to be on the
committee.

Paul Richards introduced guests and a new member. Brian and Jackie
Sullivan, Dan Mosley – New member –Charles Hancock.

Saturday cruise to Silver Dollar in Collinsville. Meet at NeMar at 12:30

October 4 – pick up cruise in Joplin.  Will be in Tulsa October 8.

Memorial show on March 15th in Missouri between Springfield and Joplin. (
check with Denny Rhett

June 20 – 28 – Great Race for vehicles 1972 or older.

Discussion on Sargent of Arms and how many votes per family. Sargent of Arms
will be an elected office. Postponed vote and tabled Sargent of Arms
discussion.
If Roberts Rules are followed it has to be in the By-laws.

Vote next month on Bill Holden (live music) to play at our car show.

Need Judges for car show. ( Note: Date should be May 23rd!)

Gary talked about the Sock Hop, February 20th at New Heart Church. Money goes
to Boys Home. Helps boys to build and work on cars.

Discussion on change of our meeting place. Buddys Grill? Talk more about
it in March meeting.

Betsy McClendon talked about ( Good Samaritan). Thanked us for our donation.
