ROUTE 66 CAR CLUB MEETING December 6, 2015 Barbara Kelsey Route 66 Cruisers Car Club Secretary.

 The Route 66 car club meeting was called to order by President Dwayne Caldwell At 5:00 pm at the Will Rogers Downs.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said and Jerry Henry said a prayer.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

The Secretary’s minutes of the previous meeting was approved as read.

Dwayne Caldwell announced again about the Christmas party gifts will be up to $20.00, it will be a Dirty Santa exchange. December the 12th at 6:00pm.

Discussion on what the people who show up for the dinner and did not pay up front the $5.00. The club decided that they will pay the full price. The club will furnish the plates, plastic ware, tea, ice and bottled water. The Members are to bring canned food to the Christmas party for our food drive.

Dwayne Caldwell announced that Jerry Henry has withdrawn from the nomination of Vice-President, so there will not be an election.

The members have until February 1st, 2016 to pay their 2016 dues or they will be taken off the membership list.

The people who pay at the car show in October will still have their year dues counted.

The website have told about a lot of cruises and a lot of members are going on them. They are not all Route 66 club events so anyone can go.

The discussion about the move to have our meetings at the Pizza Hut was brought up again and the club voted to move the meetings to the Pizza Hut, starting January 2016.

Dwayne Caldwell said that he got a debit card so that he can get small things and not have to wait for his money.

Dick McGuire said that he is drawing up a list of procedures on everything. He asked If there was a budget. Dwayne said that they have been going by the preceding years. Dick said that the board of directors need to decide on a budget.

The discussion on getting a lap-top was brought up again and Jerry Henry moved to put a cap of $300.00 on it. Jerry Henry moved to put a cap on it of $300.00. The club voted to buy it.

Dwayne Caldwell announced that the 6th annual Jr. Pearson toy run will be December the 12th beginning at 1:00pm.

There was again a discussion on the Audit. The club voted to get an outside audit. Dick McGuire said that he would try to get a CPA. Barbara Kelsey knew of someone who could do it so did Richard Hodges.

Scott Youtsey that the patches for jackets will be $7.50, will have to order 50 to get that price. The club will order them.

Dwayne Caldwell brought up the discussion on buying a trailer again. We
need to be looking for about a 14 foot trailer with doors in back.

He showed us the tri-fold that Brian Hodges made up. Claremore Printing will Do 100 of them for $89.00.

Dwayne announced that 24 stand ions are made thanks to Bill Holden. Will need Black rope for them.

Discussion on how much money to give to the Shriners. Jerry Henry moved to give $2000.00 to the Transportation fund and $2000.00 to the Stocking fund. The motion passed. Paul Kelsey invited everyone to come when we present it. Only about 12 said they would.

There was a suggestion on giving a percentage of our net money for charity.

It was announced that Bill Holden will be at the Hard Rock December 15th At 7:00 pm.

Dwayne said that we need to start the cruises back up. We have a tentative Date for January (9th) for the first one. Will go to the Savoy (Now Talley's Cafe) Restaurant in
Tulsa. From there go to the Tulsa Historical Society Museum.

We had a card from McDonalds family.

Dwayne reminded us about Star Birds.

James Riggler told about a cruise to Muskogee. Will need to call Sharon Caldwell for the date. Think it will be 19th of December.

Dwayne said that there will be several cruises next year. A lot of them will be close. If you know of any good ideas let Sharon know.
