Route 66 Cruisers Car Club Meeting Minutes- Barbara Kelsey Route 66 Cruisers Car Club Secretary.
April 6th, 2014

The Route 66 Car Club meeting was called to order by President Ted Hancock
At 5;00 pmAt the Will Rogers Downs.

The Treasurers report was read by Treasurer Nelda Conger, approved as read.
The Minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.

President Ted Hancock welcomed everyone and introduced our guests. John
and Shirley Nickolson from Wagoner Oklahoma. They had several cars in their
garage ans shop. They are celebrating their 51 wedding anniversary today.

President Ted Hancock introduced Dale and Nelda Turner from Fuddruckers.
They would like us to participate in the Happy Hands Poker Run in Tulsa,.
Saturday May 17th. 2014. Registration will be at the Krispy Crème, 71st &
Mingo at 8:30am. They introduced All Proo, he told us about the Happy
Hands Education Center an organization for families with children who are
Deaf, or hard of hearing, and children who have other communication
Disorders. They serve children from birth to age six. They are celebrating
their 20th year.

President Ted Hancock told about the film that we were in. He said it will
be a couple of months. He told us about a web site called (Cancer Sucks)
through The Tulsa Cancer Treatment Center.

President Ted Hancock announced that there will be a silent auction at the
Car Show. He needs Volunteers to get items and to setup the auction.

Sharon Coldren announced that there will be a car show at Collinville June
14th. She has applications for it.

Betsy McClendon asked about the food vendors prices. They will be $35.00 for
Food Vendors, $30.00 for Crafts and $5.00 extra if they need electricity.

Dwayne Caldwell told us about a Car Show in Dewey for three days (May 2-3-4)

Dwayne Caldwell asked about the emergency fund. President Ted Hancock said
that It was taken care of.

Dwayne Caldwell told everybody about the Branson Trip. Betsy McClendon
has a cheaper fair than the first one. We will not do it if there is not
enough people to fill the bus.

Dwayne Caldwell made a motion to change the By-laws to do away with time
limit for officers, seconded. It will be voted on at the next meeting.

Jerry Henry made a motion that the officers be in Rogers County and all the
Surrounding counties, seconded. It will be voted on at the next meeting.

Kenneth Metzinger announced that the Tulsa Race Way will have a Hot Dogs
and Hot Rods show Tuesday April the 8th , and would like us to come. There
will be an entrée fee. Highway 169. They will have it every second Tuesday
of the month.

Sue Williams announced that the American Legion in Pryor will have a fish
fry on the fourth Tuesday of each month and the cost is $6.00.
