Route 66 Cruisers Car Show Schedule for day of Show Sept. 27th 2014

6:00 a.m. Set up at shelter 2, sound system on roof (ladder needed to so Dwayne can get up there Richard Hodges (hint hint)

Speed Bumps in place and car counter

Parkers: (head parker) Delbert Tygart, Johnny Cutsinger, Ken Metzinger, Robert Conkins, Nick Carter, Ron Novotny, Jim White, Gary Schwendemann.

Banners and Signs up! Need committee to do this! Some signs can be put up before day of show. Delbert and Dwayne usually work on that but other signs needed day of show such as Parking signs, etc.

Trash cans near shelter moved by boy scouts. They will also assist in helping vendors (canopys) and with parking.

Registration at north end of shelter with large picnic table and one regular table. Goodie bag table to the right of registration. (goodie bag hand out people needed here) Prize and trophy table to the right of goodie bag table. Raffle pedal car table (Pat White) to the left of registration on the west side of shelter. Dwayne needs 2 regular tables next to pedal car table. All large picnic tables under shelter need to be moved out farther from center of shelter to allow room for lawn chairs in center for members to sit.  Should be a total of 6 picnic tables under shelter 2.  Bill Holden and band will set up at the south end of shelter. One more large picnic table needs to be moved to the large tree for the silent auction area if needed. Regular size table for coffee and water needed. 3 large ice chests needed with ice for the water. Someone to get the ice.

Aztec Locksmith- Jimmy Ripley will be doing the drone pictures and drone video throughout the day.

7:30-7:45 a.m. Registration tables ready to go! Registration starts at 8:00 a.m-11:00 but is ok to run til 11:30 if several people are coming in. When registration ends, all monies counted to see if it matches with how many cars entered.

7:30 a.m.-? Vendors Set up. Sharon Coldren arts and craft vendors and Betsy McClendon for food vendors. When all vendors have set up..figure out how many vendors and count monies with a copy for yourself and one copy to turn into Nelda.

8:00 a.m. Judges to begin when one area is filled with cars. Volunteers include Lyndyll Johnston (head judge) Darlene, Terry Carbonneau, Maxine Watts, Paul Richards, Denny Coldren, Mike Robler.

8:30 a.m.-11:00.  Dick McGuire (DJ) and will start announcing giveaways, (hopefully he can call off most give aways during this 2 1/2 hours) 3-5 numbers pulled every few minutes. Someone to take care of these numbers drawn and to write numbers on board. Nelda Conger and Russ Bickel volunteered to help. It would help Dick to have the numbers drawn with the numbers wrote down on a list in front of him to call off.  Dick will need a list of sponsors and donations. (Gold and Platinum Sponsors)

9:00-1:00 Pin-Up Girls Registration Table, each girl will write their name down when they register. They need to come back to Registration by 12:45 so that Jason Anderson can choose the winners. First Place $75, Second Place $50 and Third Place $25.  Winner announced by 1:10.

11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Bill Holden performs with the following breaks (11:50-12:10, 1:00-1:20, 2:10-2:30) so DJ can make any announcements or to call numbers.

1:30 p.m. All Host Car ballots to be turned in and winner chosen.

2:00 p.m. Announce winner of Host Car Trophy

2:10 p.m. Silent Auction Winners including the hotel room at Comfort Inn. Workers include Barbara Kelsey and Jim Cody.

3:00 p.m. Winner of Raffle announced for pedal car (monies counted by 2:30)

All numbers that have been called to be put back inside the ticket cage so that everyone has a chance to win the hotel room.

3:00 p.m. Draw number for winner of hotel room at Comfort Inn

4:00 p.m or earlier? Awards. Helpers needed to help with trophy plaques, pictures taken of the big winners.
